Guide - Online English Dictionary

The Wordbook requires user registration to keep users' learning progress. I understand that most people do not want user registration for services they don't know. I have released the " Online English Dictionary " which detached the built-in dictionary from the Wordbook. You can try it out without registration. The "Online English Dictionary" user interface is similar to the Wordbook one.

Dictionary

WordNet 3.1 and Wiktionary are used as the base.
The search engine uses a fuzzy search algorithm. Even if you misspell a word, a search engine predicts the word.

History

The words you search for and check their meaning will be saved in history.
History is saved for each browser. The history page will be opened when you click history icon. The icon is placed in a header toolbar.

Settings

The settings page will be opened when you click settings icon. The icon is placed in a header toolbar.

Application Settings

The following items can be changed on the Application Settings page.

• Audio Autoplay
• Volume
• Preferred Audio Voice
• Dark Mode
